Yes the weight limit of the passenger/s cannot exceed a weight of 350 lbs.

Up to two passengers can fly in our biplane in addition to the pilot.

You will be greeted by one of our pilots upon arrival. Before each flight, pilots brief passengers on air safety. Passengers are strapped in and and are given a helmet with a headset for communication with the pilot.

Flights take off from the Rectrix north general aviation facility at the northeast corner of the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

In order to get the time and date that you want we definitely recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. However, we do take walk ins if there aren’t any tours already scheduled for that time.

The ability to take a flight would be based more on height rather than age because the cockpit is deep seated. We generally recommend only flying with children that are able to sit on their own booster seat, which you would need to provide.

You should receive a confirmation email whether you book online or book over the phone confirming your tour’s date and time.

When you check out tax will then be included, as it is not included in the listed price.  There are two types of add ons that cost extra should you choose them which are our HD video add on and our sunset add on. Sunset is only available for our Beach and Grand Tours.

The gift certificate will be mailed to the shipping address the purchaser submits, and they can call us at 941-320-5038 to book their flight.

Gift certificates expire exactly one year from the day purchased. Once past expiration date the gift certificate is no longer valid.

We recommend bringing your camera or phone so you can take all kinds of pictures from the air. We also have a video package available should you want the adventure fully captured. There is quite a strong slipstream so always hold onto your devices with two hands.

We recommend wearing whatever makes you comfortable. The passenger seat does receive some heat off the engine so we generally recommend wearing something that will still keep you feeling cool. We also recommend sunglasses so you aren’t hindered from seeing the sights due to the bright Florida sunshine.

You must call 24 hours ahead of your scheduled tour when cancelling or rescheduling your tour. Flights purchased are non-refundable. Customers will only receive a full refund or a gift certificate in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Sarasota Biplane Adventures, it’s pilots or agents, reserve the right to cancel a tour for any reason.

Our pilots are very aware of the weather surrounding the area. Should we need to cancel your flight due to weather we will reschedule you at your next earliest convenience.
